I have a double Masters from the Network on Humanitarian Assistance, including from Uppsala University and from Rijkuniversitet Groningen. The latter is a focus on Humanitarian Analysis and Intervention Design. In addition, I have a visiting scholarship from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in Columbia University, NY, and completed the NOHA Intensive Programme in Warsaw University, Poland.
I have been working in humanitarian aid for over ten years, including deployments to over 20 humanitarian responses. My previous work experience including with the UN, INGOs and NGOs. I am currently based at the HUMLOG Institute in Helsinki.
I specalise in local procurement for humanitarian response, with experience across a number of sectors, including food security and livelihoods (FSL), nutrition and maternal health, public health, and water and sanitation (WATSAN/WASH).
